Mint Position

INTERNATIONAL SEO SERVICES

Rank in New Countries. Reach Buyers in Their Language.

We help companies enter new markets with SEO and content strategies built for each target country — the right keywords, the right language, and the right technical setup to rank where your buyers are searching.

International SEO Built Around Your Target Market

Most companies approach international expansion by translating existing content.

But that’s not a strategy — it’s a shortcut that search engines and local buyers both see through. True international SEO requires keyword research in each target language, technical configuration that tells Google which page to serve to which audience, and content that reflects how local buyers actually search and think.

At Mint Position, we combine SEO content strategy, multilingual keyword research, and link building from in-market sources to build organic visibility in each country you want to enter — not just a translated version of your home market.

An international SEO approach ensures that:

  • Content mapped to high-intent keywords in each target language
  • Technical hreflang and URL structure to signal the right page to the right audience
  • Localization that goes beyond translation — adapting to local customs, colloquialisms, and search intent.

URL Structure Strategy

International SEO requires a deliberate URL structure to help search engines understand which version of your site to serve in each market.

We evaluate three main options — subdirectory (example.com/es/), subdomain (es.example.com), or country code top-level domain (example.es) — and recommend the structure that fits your business model, technical infrastructure, and international ambitions.

Multilingual Keyword Research

We research keywords in each target language based on how local buyers actually search — not direct translations of English terms. Our current language capabilities include English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, and Polish, with new languages added regularly.

Localization

Going beyond translation, localization adapts your content to the cultural context of each target market — region-specific expressions, local customs, and the search intent behind queries that a literal translation would miss.

Hreflang Tags

Hreflang tags tell search engines the language and geographic targeting of each page — ensuring users in Spain see the Spanish version, users in Mexico see the Mexico-targeted version, and so on. Correct implementation is one of the most technically consequential steps in any international SEO strategy.

Language-Targeting Link Building

Backlinks from high-authority sites in your target market signal to search engines that your content is relevant and credible in that region.

We identify and pursue links from in-market publishers, associations, and media outlets — the same sources that AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude draw on when generating answers for local audiences.

Our Process for Building Your International Audience

1. Define Target Markets

We identify the countries or regions you want to target and consider factors such as language, cultural differences, and market potential.

2. Multilingual Keyword Research

We perform multilingual keyword research, finding popular and relevant trends, phrases, and keywords in your target audience's language using tools like SEMRush.

3. Multilingual Content Marketing Production

We produce localized content in each target language — written and adapted for local search intent, not translated from English.

4. SEO Elements Localization

We use SEO best practices to customize your on-page SEO elements—like title tags, meta descriptions, and localized header tags—to fit each target market.

5. Hreflang Tags and URL

We use hreflang tags in your website's HTML so that search engines will display the correct page version based on user location and language preferences. Here, we also create new URL structures if needed.

6. Site Prospecting and Evaluation

We identify high-authority in-market domains for link building through competitor backlink analysis and search engine research in each target language.

7. Outreach and Relationship Building

We contact webmasters to demonstrate how your content aligns with their site and propose collaboration, such as content sharing or link building.

8. Backlinks from Foreign Sites

We secure backlinks from vetted in-market domains, documenting each placement by domain authority, organic traffic, and anchor text.

How We Build Authority in Your Target Markets

In-market backlinks are the most direct signal to Google that your content belongs in a country’s search results. We target only trustworthy, contextually relevant domains in each target language — avoiding low-quality directories and prioritizing placements that carry genuine editorial weight. These same sources are increasingly cited by AI tools, making them doubly valuable for GEO visibility alongside SEO.

Here are some examples of high-credibility, relevant links that we would target for your chosen location:

International SEO Services FAQ

International SEO requires more language and technical work than a domestic campaign, so pricing scales accordingly. The scope depends on the number of target markets, languages, and the current state of your website. Contact us for a customized quote after a free strategy review.

Results depend on your domain authority, current content volume, and the competitiveness of your target market. In most cases, expect meaningful ranking movement within three to six months — similar to domestic SEO, but with additional variables for each new language and region.

We currently produce SEO content in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, German, and Polish. If your target market requires a language not listed, contact us — our capabilities are expanding regularly.

We recommend a minimum of three to four localized pages per month per target market to build consistent visibility. Less than that and momentum is hard to sustain.

Backlinks remain one of Google’s most important ranking signals. For international SEO specifically, in-market backlinks are essential — they tell search engines your content is credible and relevant in a given country, not just translated for it.

Beyond SEO, placements on high-authority local sites increasingly influence what AI tools surface for users in those markets. Contact us to learn more about how we can apply modern backlink building techniques to your business.
