Quickly Building Relevant Organic B2B Traffic in the US Tech Recruiting Market
How Mint Position used buyer-specific research to build relevant B2B traffic in 4 months
Client brief
In early 2023, Remoti had recently launched a new website and needed to jumpstart traffic. This would be tricky because there was no link-building budget and very low Domain Authority.
Strategy
Remoti’s target customers, HR officers in the US looking to hire tech talent globally, often look for average salary studies during their research process. After conducting market and keyword research, we determined that ‘average salary guides for XYZ country’ would be not only a relevant subject — but also provide very low-difficulty keyword opportunities.
Results
We began publishing at the end of February 2023, targeting specific salary-related keywords. There was an almost immediate impact on the site’s ranking organic keywords.
By the end of Q2, just 4 months after the start of publication, Remoti was generating 4,200 new organic visits per month, 64% of which was coming from their target market — the high-value and high-difficulty market of the US.
The majority of that traffic came from our salary guide series, including guides on the average salary of Brazil, Ecuador and Colombia. (These choices were important because Remoti can help US companies recruit tech professionals from these countries.)
All of those 3 guides ranked #1 in the US. Below are screenshots of those articles appearing on the top of US SERPs.
